We have been actively trying for 6 mths now. I went off the pill just before we started trying. All we get are big fat negatives. Tried ovulations kits; lying on my back with my body tilted etc etc. Nothing works. This month I was hopeful but my period arrived yesterday (5 days early and very heavy) and I have not been able to stop crying since then!
For the past 2 months, instead of working, all I do is trawl websites for any information on TTC and fertility troubles. How do I stop obsessing without taking my foot off the pedal. I feel the clock ticking away....Any sound advice?

I wish I could help you through this, but the fact is I'm in the same boat!I've also been trying for 6months and it's so hard to get negative after negative after negative.Sometimes I feel like you do now,sad and depro and cant stop crying and other times it's a little better. This is a crazy rollercoaster ride and I hate it.TTC is no fun anymore!!! I also thought this month was it and I was mistaken once again.

Most people will give you the advice to just relax and not to think about TTC,but easier said than done. This is not a button you can just switch off!

I'm sorry I cant be of more help, but I just wanted you to know that you are definitely not alone :-) Good luck, thinking of you

Hi ladies, sorry to hear about your negatives.
I know exactly what you mean about that roler coaster & there are plenty of us on it.
We've been TTC for a year & have had a failed IVF, but as things are now, I feel there is hope & that's what I'm hanging on too. Well that & my faith.
Good luck, hope you get your BFP's really soon

Hi Ladies

We are on the same boat, i've been trying for 2yrs. I have stopped buying preg tests bcos i cant stop crying after seeing one line. I must say that this is most painful situation any woman can ever go through. I have put my faith in gods hands and pray everytime i get depressed. It has happened with other couples and will definately happen for us

I am sorry you are feeling so low about waiting for your positive test. I hope there is a happy outcome soon. Let us know how it goes for you.

Hi ladies!

Have you heard of the multi-vitamin called Stamino Gro? I have heard and read about other ladies who got good result from using it. Go to your doctor and ask about it, there's no harm in asking and trying it, it's multi-vitamin supplement after all.

Good luck to you all and always remember that NOTHING is impossible with God... keep on praying He is always lestening.

Ladies, I know exactly what you are going through. But it has proven over and over again, the moment you give up and say s***w this it happens! There is a mulitivitamin called Fertipil Plus. it's to be used by both as it helps men to produce healthy sperm and women healthy eggs. We are about 7 friends/colleagues that used it and we've all had our babies since then with the 7th one pregnant at the moment.

Nothing is impossible! I went for 4 opinions that said we could never have children and my 2nd daughter is turning a year this month! Keep yourselves busy and try to relax...and it will happen...you'll see...

Hi,
Where do we get this "mulitivitamin called Fertipil Plus" ? And how much does it cost?

Fertipil Plus can be bought at Dischem and it's about R 120.00 for 30 tablets. Have you heard of Inofolic? That is supposed to be quite good as well

Hi there Ladies.

We have been TTC for a year, after the first couple of months I went for my general yearly check up at the Gynea, he found a huge cyst on one of my ovaries, I had to have it removed straight away. I read that usually after such an op your chances of falling pregnant was very good, so obviously for the next 3 months thereafter I tried my best, did all the stuff I was suppost to etc etc... nothing, monht after month after month just nothing ! !

I am a bit of a obsisive compulsive person so I also googled myself to death and every symptom was a pregnancy one. Then I just gave up, I told hubby that if it's meant to be, it will be, maybe we are not meant to fall pregnant, maybe the timing is wrong...

so I gave up ! ! ! Naturually every month I would secretly hope and pray, but got my periods every month.... then last month, I was one day late, then two days late (now I'm trying not to get my hopes up) but when i was eventually almost 5 days late I caved and bought the test.... I got my BIG FAT POSITIVE ! ! ! I bought 2 more test and all 3 were positive.

Hang in there, maybe the timing is just not right.... it's all in God's hand, he will give you a Baby when He knows it's the best time or circumstances.

I wish you all the best of Luck, just don't loose faith ! And like they always say, as soon as you stop trying or counting or obsessing, it happens.

I am now waiting for my appointment in 2 weeks to see the heartbeat.

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd share my emotions, because can't tell anyone else, besides hubby!

I think I might also be obsessing a bit, but we are also TTC and...we timed it right, did all the bicycle moves etc. Now it's only almost 2 weeks later after ovulation and I'm HOPING and FEELING I could be pregnant.

But then again I reason that out saying it could just be the same symptoms for my period coming up...

Breasts are tender, have been going to the loo almost twice as often as usual, and get some tingly/ achy feelings in my ovaries. I know I should just wait and see if my period arrives, but it's really insanity not knowing.

I don't want to do a pregnancy test until I'm a few days late with my period. But I also do want to do one now, just to make sure. But those emotions inside are making you think and feel so many things - like you can't stop thinking about it.

I've also been all over the net looking and reading info, almost making it want to happen. And I also know that God is Supreme and He is always right, so I needn't get my knickers in a knot.

Maybe I've answered my own question, but still it's nice to chat about it.

xxx

Hi everyone! It's nice to hear i'm not alone. Been trying for almost a year now, I'm 33 and hubby is 35 so feel the clock ticking away. If I'm not pregnant this month we're both gonna go for tests. although I'm very surey about my ovulation, i can clearly feel when i ovulate so i know that's not the issue....
In the meanwhile we'll keep praying and hoping - good luck to everyone!

I am glad to hear that I am not alone in the situation. If any of you are in Johannesburg I suggest the Vitalab in Sandton.
I was told I could never have kids. They have done sme tests and so far the results have been postive. Unfortunately I have had to put the whole process on the back burner as it gets expensive. Medical aid won't cover and there is a small op involved for some.

Just pray each day that our turn will come
Hi there. me and my husband started using fertipil
