For starters, our problems have been from day one. Our little boy is now 7 weeks old, he was diagnosed with GERD(very severe acid reflux case, going to a GI nxt week), he is on axid. He has thrush( has had it on and off for 3 weeks), and refuses to sleep in his bed at ALL costs. About 2 weeks ago, he slept good for the first 4 weeks, by slept good, i mean 2-3 hrs at a time, best case scenario. He now has been having issues for 3 weeks, his puking is severe to say the least, he is on Nutremigen formula. He sleeps for 30 minute increments every 4-5 hrs, but fusses the whole time he sleeps, we can only sleep him in a vibrating bouncy seat or swing. This has been going on for 3 weeks, i work 12 hr nights, and my wife is at her wits end, when im at home, i also get no sleep at all. What do we do??

For a start, take turns to sleep so that you are not BOTH at your wits' end. Babies do grow out of GERD, so it will get better. I recommend you get hold of Megan Faure's book Sleep Sense, which addresses all the issues around sleep.

Good advice - also do not be ashamed/scared to ask family or friends for help. Ask someone to come help out for an evening, or ask them if you can drop him off for one night so you can get some rest.

When you are at wits end and operating on little sleep, things seem to be much worse than they really are and it forms a horrible cycle.
