I am in a similar position, when i applied for the job i was not pregnant, or even aware of it. the fist interview i was about 6/7 weeks on, second interview came at 8 weeks, and there they asked about my plans for marriage although i had an engagement band, i told them off-course i plan to , hence the ring. they asked about family, i said its something i plan on starting soon, and they wanted to know how soon, 12 months or 18 months, to be safe i just said, i am working on it now. shortly after that, they suddenly suggested that if i get the job, maybe start o contract basis and we see the fit between me and the company, and only then they could offer me a permanent position, i have no issue with that, cause i am really not interested on getting maternity leave pay or any of that. but i figured the reason they suggested contract was cause of my 'planning a baby'. when i didn't hear for a months i though, well i didn't get the job, and at 12 weeks i get a call saying they r considering a six month contract if i am okay with that, we can see how it goes first, i was fine with that, and actually, its the six months i have before baby arrives. Still waiting for the offer that should come in the next 2 days, and i am not sure when to disclose this, right away or after a month of proving myself????
