HI

I am urgently Looking for an affordable remedial schhol for kid with adhd who will be in Grade 1 next year. I live in the roodepoort area. SHould have a maximum of 15 children in class.

Delta Park School is a public remedial school in Blairgowrie or Crossroads School is in Linden.

Google Delta Park School and you'll get to their website. Delta Park is closest to you if you go for public school option. I would recommend phoning them asap.

Crossroads is the private school option.

The ADHD support group also have their offices at Delta Park School but is not part of the school. The support group consists of parents of children with ADHD or ADD.

There is also West Rand School and Lantern that can deal with ADHD kids.

How was your search for a school? ADHD students don't perform well in traditional public or private schools, more parents are exploring private schools specializing in ADD/ADHD. Finding and enrolling in private schools specializing in ADD/ADHD will give your child the support system he/she needs, as well as give you a much-needed reprieve from the frustrating feeling that you're not able to understand or help your child do better in life.
