Hi and congrats to everyone!

Is there anyone who would like to swop symptoms stories etc for this stage of pregnancy. I'm a bit queasy since I found out, period pains (which have subsided), lower back pain, tired and sore breasts. Is it a bad sign if the queasyness and period pains gets less and less or should I be thankful?

Good luck to all!

Hi Sonblom

I am also about 5 weeks pregnant!
I have not had any nausea, but have had the tiredness, slightly sore breasts and something like period pains.
I am also very bloated and seem to be retaining water. Apparently the symptoms subside and come back so I would say be thankful for the days when you don't have it!

Hi Ladies

Congratulations Mommies...I am 7 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling nausea(don't know why they call it morning sickness because it sure does appear anytime), slight back pain and I get really tired. Yesterday I even went to an empty office here at work and slept for about 30min, it really helped and then when I got home I took another nap.

I also found out that I need to keep a lot of fruits, especially grapes next to me so I can nibble now and then, it helps alleviate the nausea. I wish you all the best ladies...happy preggies:d/

Hi Kasc,

How are you doing? Week 6!! How are your symptoms so far? Do you feel like you're starting to show? We've decided to tell our friends and family at 8 weeks. Hope all is well with your pregnancy.

Take care of yourself and your bump!:d/

hi Ladies, congrats to you all.
I am 3 weeks pregnant, still very early ages, but am still in a complete state of shock!! this is number 3 for me.

yes i have just had the sore breast and am extremely tired.
no nausea yet, thank goodness, i hope it stays that way.

my last 2 pregnancies was not the most pleasant ones, and morning sickness can last for the full 9-10 months - believe me - i have lived it!!
everyone has difference experiences.

Good luck to you all!

just joined the forum and congratulations to all u expecting mums.

Mine has been very different from the usual stories i used to hear. Im 32yrs expecting 1st baby. Now at 29 weeks.
I did not have any extreme symptoms im basically still my old self. Very few symptoms. I felt the nausea early on in the 1st trimester but never threw up. I had a discharge which my doctor gave me meds for and everything stopped.

Currently im having back pains since the baby is getting bigger. That causes the restless sleeps, BUT i go to the loo dozens of times during the day (bcoz of the water). The appetite has increased but i dont have cravings, i love potatoes though.
I have continued to live my normal life and still doing my usual stuff.

All the best to you all.

Hi Sonblom

6 weeks! Yay! I am feeling so fat.... my stomach has been really unhappy, so much bloating and cramping. My clothes are much tighter already but I think its just the bloating. I am going for my first appointment on 7 Feb, you?

We have told our friends and family already - if something does happen we will need their support. The only people who don't know are my work, I will tell them after my dr's appointment.

Telling people is so exciting, they invariably share your joy and as you say, the support is appreciated, especially if you suffer from nausea or are very tired. Enjoy these exciting days!

hi guys
I have also just found out I was pregnant. Well i was about 2 weeks, I am now about 4-5 weeks and dying to see a gynae - which is only the 1st Septmeber - so it feels like a lifetime away. Freaking out big time.

I have no symptoms other than bloating and sore boobs. NOt even that tired at the moment, i am still gyming at 5am.

I am stressing out though as i have been experiencing severe cramps in my lower abdomen and they last for about 3 mins and then stop, there is no blood or anything, but I am so scared of what it can be :(

I've heard of creamping in early pregnancy as the uterus readies itself for the process. But I would always say err on the side of caution and phone the doctor's office if you feel at all unsure.
