Hi Super Moms and Dads

My daughter is currently at pre-school (Grade R).I got a report from her teacher that she does not follow instructions and she suggest we must take her to Occupational therapist to assist.

I am a bit skeptical to take her to Therapist as I have noiced that she is not fluent in English(English its her 2nd language) maybe that could be one of the reason why she is not following instruction properly I suggested to her teacher to assess her and if the problem still persist then we will consider the therapist option.

Please assist,if there is any material that I can use in the meantime for her improvent or any ideas that can help in this regard.

Thanking you in advance

My sons both went to an occupational therapist, and her home language also wasn't English. But somehow they did get used to the exercises etc. But if necessary, ask for a reference to a person who speaks your language. All the best.
