hey everyone
I decided today to join the forum as i really need someone to talk to,
my hubby an i have been married for 6 years now and in November 2010
we decided to start a family, we have been trying since Dec'10 and nothing
yet, i do it all i check for ovulation, take vitamins, put my legs up... you name
it im trying it!

And still NOTHING, in the meantime everyone around me seems to be preggies
without even trying.....

I have been off the pill since Dec'10 and havent really had a period, only some light
spotting that lasts maybe a day but thats it generally... could something be wrong??

Hi

Have you had a pregnancy test done recently? Spotting can be a sign of pregnancy.

I have done one every month since December but results are negative, as for the month of May.... not yet! I dont want to put too much pressure on myself and do one every time we are intimate, so i told myself once a month towards end of month... as im usually due to start my periods around the
27-29th of every month....thanks tho

Hi lin

It took 7 months for my cycle to become regular after I stopped the pill. I skipped some periods, some cycles were 21 days, some 41. I would give your body a chance to adjust to being off the pill and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. If however your periods aren't back in a few months I would go to see your Gynae.

Thanks Marmalade,, im going on 6 months without a real period. i have had one day period last month, but thats about it! The one thing i have noticed since i have been off the pill is that i have so many pimples all over my chin and nose area, they really sore and red with large bumps.....does anyone know of anything i could take to make this better without afecting my chances of falling pregnant?

Hi,


I dont think anything is worng but why dont you go to the Gynie to check if everything is ok?

We have been trying for a year and after 6 months I went to the gynie and at the moment im on fertility treatment. Im not saying that you would need fertility treatment, but make sure that everything is ok?

I waisted 6 months on just trying when I could have been futher than I am now - and maybe pg....just a sugestion.
