My daughter who is almost three has these exhausting emotional outbursts. I suppose one could called it a tantrum, but I feel it is something more than that. Sometimes she cries for hours and I have no idea what is wrong. Some days she wants to be held and helped, other days she wants do everything on her own. I am exhausted! I am not sure if she feels that she needs more attention from me because I often have to drop everything for her younger sister who is 5 months. I am also sleep deprived which does not help the situation. I try to reassure her, but some days I just want to run away because it can be so tiring...

Any advice?

I am sure you must be emotionally finished at the end of the day! Is she getting enough sleep? Sometimes toddlers will drop a nap, but still be cranky without it. It will get better!

I also have a similar issue with son who is also 3 years. He normally goes to bed around 19H30, which I think is enough sleep for him. The creche he attends wants to chase him away, because the say that they cannot handle him. Is there mayble a medical intervension that can assist. Please help.
