Hi All,
My son who is now 8 and in Gr2. has since Jan found school very dificult. I have taken him to the Neurologist for scans and tests. They have picked up that the lining around the brain is thinner than the average person. They have put him on Magnesium to assist with this. And they have also put him on Concerta. But i feel that he is a bit of a Zombie.
I have now been told by a family member to rather try Guarana Beverage. But I am not sure what to do. I need some advise. I feel like such a useless person not knowing what the right and best thing is to do for my son.

Please help me
Tom

Firstly, get yourself a second opinion.

If you want the best, see Dr. Dimitri Manoussakis at Flora Clinic.

Best of luck with finding the best solution for your son.

I agree with Tom, get a second or even third opinion.
I truly believe that natural is the best for many conditions but not sure why your son was put on Concerta, generally prescribed for ADHD, our children are medicated into the box that suits the classroom.
This is only my opinion, I am in no way a medical practitioner at all.
Good luck and lots of positive vibes for you and your son.

Hi Yolande,

I hope you found a resolution to this. It is such a tough call to make: you want to do what's right for your son, so that school doesn't become a minefield. But you also don't want to "lose" your son as he becomes a medicated zombie. I would be careful about Guarana as it is a stimulant, and perhaps not ideal in his situation. Have you tried it? Did it work?

Some members of our team have faced similar difficulties, and found a gentle, effective solution. You can read their stories here: http://wecreatesuccess.n...ntration-difficulties/.

All the very best, I hope you have the support you need!
