Hello ladies,
i need some ppl to just chat with and share experiences with.
We decided end 2010 to start a family, we have been married for 7 years and now, 7 months down the line and nothing! Brick wall

I dont know, i have been ovulating every month and every month we more actively trying during that window period, however for the month of June i did not ovulate, after checking almost every 2nd day and then resorting to a pregnancy
test which was negative.

So now im trying to schedule a visit to the gynae, who i saw end of 2010 and advised of our family plans, but maybe now
he can check for what could be causing me not to concieve.

Its funny we spend our whole lives trying not to fall pregnant, and then when we ready we cant even fall pregnant!

Hi SuzzieQ,

I feel your frustration! I also need someone to share experiences with. Hubby and I have been trying to conceive since Jan 2010, and I was on the pill for about 10 years before that. After about 6 months with no luck I got pretty stressed, and was also experiencing strange long cycles - I am convinced that I was not ovulating every month, and that when I was I couldn't get the days right because I was ovulating on different days each time.

Now its a year and a half later and I can see that over the last few months, my cycles have normalised and I know exactly when i am avulating, so realy hoping this will help the cause... we have decided that if nothing yet by November, we are going to the gynae for both of us to get tested.

you are absolutely right.. we do spend our lives convinced that if we skip one pill, or have unprotected sex just ONCE that we will fall preggies - now I find out there is only a 15% chance of it happening each cycle. First you have to make sure your body is functioning as it should be, then you have to make sure that you do the funky monkey at the right time, in the right position, then you only ovulate on one side, so hopefully the sperm choose the right fallopian tube to swim to, and then the sperm needs to be strong enough to penetrate, and then the egg needs to get to the lining of the womb and successfully implant - just one of those goes wrong and we have a BFN!!! AARRGGHH!!

I am actually on the first day of my two week wait now... lets hope this is the one!!!! Hope it's yours too :)

Bambino = Baby Boy in italian and Bambina = Baby Girl in Italian

Dear Lindsey0
I have been away for awhile and just read your response, i hope all has gone well for you! Any news since your last post 2 months ago?

My side still nothing, and i decided to tel my sister in on the whole thing, so that i have a pillar of support should i need one!

Hubby & i are just carrying on, it will happen whenever, i do have my yearly checkup coming in OCT so i guess my gynae and i will have a chat and see what he says.

I went out and purchase Fertiliboost but we havent started taking it, as im a bit nervous about just taking stuff. So will speak with gynae about that too. Have you heard of Fertiboost??

I look forward to your response!

Keep well and take care
