my boy is 17 months old,from birth he was sleeping in his court until winter came and hubby decided that it was cold for him to sleep in his court alone,eversince then he has been sleeping on our bed when i tried to put him back in his court he ends up waking up and be restless the whole night not only that is my problem now,he recently wants to sleep on one of our chests as he wakes up during the night .....how do i put him back in his bed and let him sleep alone,"ROUTINE" how do i startEh?

You going to have to start putting him back in there and you must keep it that way. You amde the fatal mistake of him sleeping with you so you have to break it. I think that a teddy bear to hold onto will help him, reassure him that you are there, give him lots of hugs and kisses etc. A night light is also a good choice.
